TOKYO TAROT MUSEUM
Tarot cards are also called the ‘Fool's Journey.’ The first card (‘0 Fool’) represents the start of the journey, and the freedom of the Soul. The Fool is shown at the edge of a cliff, too full of the joy of life to see the danger.
As the journey unfolds themes like creation, wisdom, fertility, and order and those themes are explored, the challenges involved lead you to a higher awareness. Tarot has been around since ancient times, but the cards that are turned over always have a fresh and living message for you.
Tarot is one of the tools of ‘dialogue with the self.’
One of the backgrounds of Tarot is ‘mythology.’ Mythology is a universal story that has been handed down from long ago and still lives in people's unconscious.
By looking into the world of Tarot, you may be able to hear the myths that live within you.
We invite you to talk to yourself and weave its words.
Although invisible to the eye, the message you find is the real star of this museum. Please enjoy the world of tarot in this calm and quiet space.
Tokyo Tarot Museum is a space where visitors can enjoy the world of tarot. The museum also features original art work from our own line of cards, exhibitions of rare and valuable cards (including related materials), and approximately 500 different products on display and for sale.
In our ‘free space’ area, you can actually use Tarot cards. We provide a large number of Tarot decks and Tarot textbooks so that even those with no knowledge of Tarot can do self-readings right away.
Our library has an extensive variety of books on mythology, psychology, philosophy, witchcraft, and other divination techniques, which you can browse at your leisure along with our original catalog.
